GameSpy Arena is a powerful tool for initiating and organizing your challenges and matches, as well as keeping track of your records and results against other players. Once you've used GameSpy Arena to work out the details of a challenge and setup a match, you must play your match online using your PS2 (PlayStation Network Adapter required).
Exchange contact information with one another using the Message box when issuing a challenge or the Contact Player box on the player profile page. Keep in constant communication with one another regarding match details, and try to log on to PS2 a few minutes before the match.
Most online-capable PS2 games have chat room capability, so you'll be able to meet in one and launch your game together. Other games might do it a little differently, such as having certain servers already up for players. For more information regarding playing PS2 games online, visit PlayStation.com's Online Gaming section.
Once the match is complete, the loser (and sometimes the winner - check the ladder for requirements) needs to return to GameSpy Arena and report the results. Ladders can be found here: http://arena.gamespy.com/platform/xbox/

Add the other person's GamerTag to your Xbox Live buddy list. At the date and time of your match, log-in to Xbox Live, find each other in the buddy list, and play!
