In this workshop you can Learn how to perform a "Custom" uninstall of GameSpy Arcade.
First, click the Start Menu and go to the Control Panel. In the Control Panel double click on Add/Remove Programs
Select GameSpy Arcade and click remove.
Select Custom Uninstall, then Next.
On each consecutive screen click "Select All", and then Next:
And wait for it to uninstall.
Next go to C:\Program Files\ and delete the "GameSpy Arcade" folder. Your system is now clean from any and all Arcade files. The next step is to go to Download the latest version of GameSpy Arcade
Once installed, run GameSpy Arcade. It will attempt to download the service map:
If GameSpy Arcade hangs during this step, something may be blocking your connection to our servers, like a software firewall or active virus scanner. Please refer to the Support Links at the end of this document.
From here, enter your account email address and password to retrieve your profiles. Tada! You are back on GameSpy Arcade with a fresh new install. If you are still encoutering problems, you can contact Technical Support by going to Help > Request Technical Support from the menus. The following support links are also available to you:
