Need help with your firewall? Router or Proxy? We're here to help!

We here at Helper central always want to see you have the best time on GameSpy. Therefore we are always looking for information to get you back on track and into your games.

If you are having connection problems and you think it might be a firewall issue, here is a good question that you can ask yourself:

Are you using a Firewall like ZoneAlarm, BlackIce, Norton, on cable, or DSL using a router or PPPOE software? Anything like Sygate, Wingate, or a Proxy? Are you running any Anti-Virus software? On a home network? Are there any firewall programs currently on your computer but disabled?

If you answered yes to any of those questions or you are not sure, then you probably do have a firewall running. Below are many links to firewall support pages. Check and see which one applies to you and click on the appropriate support link.
