How do I use User Rooms?
GameSpy Arcade's User Rooms
GameSpy Arcade's User Rooms provide a private and persistent place where you and your friends can socialize while moving from place to place in Arcade.
They show up as tabs on the right side of the tab-bar and can stay open while you are moving from game to game. Get together privately with your clan and talk about the upcoming match while still talking smack in the main Desert Combat lobby!
Anyone can join a User Room, but only Game Tools and Founders' Club subscribers can create new User Rooms.

Entering User Rooms To Which You Belong
User Rooms to which you already belong are listed in the user room menu (pictured above). A check mark next to a room's name indicates that you're currently logged into that room. To enter another room, click on its name in the list.
Configuring User Rooms
Click on the User Room Browser link from the User Rooms drop-down menu
Use the left side of the menu to find or join User Rooms
Use the right side of the menu to manage your rooms or create a User Room
Create Your Own User Room
To create your own user room:
Open the User Room Browser menu (Ctrl + K)
Click on the "Create Room" button
Enter your room's name, control access by adding a password, and choose a Web page to display in your room.
Browse Available User Rooms
To find and join User Rooms, first select the User Room Browser link from the User Rooms tool bar drop down menu. The "Find User Rooms" controls will be listed on the left-hand side of the User Room Browser. From here you can ...
retrieve a list of all public User Rooms
find rooms by name, title or keyword
find rooms created by a particular person
Join New User Rooms
To join a user room ...
Open the User Room Browser (Ctrl + K)
Search for a room to join (see above)
Highlight a room on the list you've generated
Click the "Join room" button
Rules
While user rooms are your own space to use as you wish, their usage is subject to certain rules. Under no circumstances will rooms containing information about cracks, warez or piracy of any kind be allowed. Similarly, rooms featuring sites containing links to sites which seek to intentionally crash or damage another user's computer are forbidden. GameSpy will close down any user rooms violating these rules, and will suspend or terminate the accounts of the room's creator.
